It is with deep sadness and much love, the family mourns the passing of our beloved Gabriel. Gabriel was born on March 21, 1978 in Albuquerque, NM. He was 47 years old when he was called from his earthly life on March 09, 2026. He now knows true peace. He will be greatly missed by his loving parents Tony and Alice Cortez, his brothers Matthew Cortez and Gilbert Cortez (Crystal). He was a very special, loving uncle especially to Patrick, Luricious, Angelique, Julius, Eli, Michael, and Marious. Gabriel’s fiance was Jorine Ortiz whom he loved dearly, along with her children Celeste and Alex. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Thursday, March 19, 2026 Viewing 5:00pm-6:00pm Rosary 6:00pm Trujillo Funeral Home 110 Alvarado Drive SE

Friday, March 20 2026 Mass 10:15am San Martin De Porres Catholic Church 8301 Camino San Martin SW

Burial to follow: Pajarito Cemetery 5807 Coors Blvd. SW

Pallbearers will include Matthew Cortez, Gilbert Cortez, Julius Cortez, Carlos Montoya, John Montoya.

Honorary pallbearers include Patrick Cortez, Luricious Cortez and Angelique Cortez.
