Gabriel Allen "Gabe" Mull

Gabriel Allen "Gabe" Mull

April 5, 2013 March 12, 2026

Larned, KS

Gabriel "Gabe" Allen Mull was born on April 5, 2013, in Manhattan, Kansas, and passed away on March 12, 2026, at his home in Larned.

A big-hearted boy with a smile that could light up a room, Gabe brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. He loved sports, the outdoors, working on the farm and with the cattle, and spending time gaming. His outgoing, sometimes ornery personality meant he made friends easily and was always ready with a joke. Above all, Gabe cherished his family and friends, and he held a deep love for God and the church. He was an active participant in PSR at Sacred Heart of Jesus, where he enjoyed serving and helping with the younger children, and he faithfully contributed to the Christmas program and Vacation Bible School at Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center each year. He was also a dedicated member of the Tiny Toilers 4-H Club.

Gabe was remarkably talented and a quick learner who thrived in the activities he loved. He participated in football, basketball, track, scholars bowl, and band, and he especially enjoyed being active outdoors. Warm spring and summer days found him riding dirt bikes, shooting, and playing ball at home. He competed in trap and air rifle, but took equal pleasure in casual shooting at the river or with .22 targets closer to home.

He is survived by his parents, Kristen and Brian Hagerman of Larned and John Mull of Wichita; his siblings, Ava, Madelyn, and Mason; grandparents Michael and Lisa Burdett of Larned and Sindra Hagerman of Larned; great-grandparents John and Norma Wiedmer of Sun City West, Arizona; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Gabe was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Jim and Mary Burdett, Keith and Marian Mull, and Glenn and Elaine Mull; his grandparents Alan Hagerman; his aunt Amy Harter; and his cousin Samantha Harter.
