Freida Elaine Allen

Freida Elaine Allen, 72, of LaGrange, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Hospice LaGrange.

Born on February 23, 1954, in LaGrange, she was the daughter of the late William Paul Allen and Nora Lee Leavins Allen. A lifelong resident of LaGrange, Freida was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in crafting and painting. She had a warm, open heart and genuinely loved people, never meeting a stranger. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in LaGrange.

She is survived by her son, Josh Pittman (Kimberly) of LaGrange; granddaughters, Hailey Pittman and Emily Pittman; sisters, Annetha Allen of Alexander City, Alabama, and Sue Franks (Calvin) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; nephews, Darrell Moncus (Glenith), Dwayne Moncus, Michael Franks (Kimberly), and Anthony Whitt; nieces, Carmen Guggenberger (Mike) and Jennifer Morris; great-nephews, Lucas Moncus and Thomas Guggenberger; great-nieces, Aubrey Moncus and Kristina Shattucks (Trent); and special friends, Mike Pittman, Mary Gregory, and the members of Mark Peak’s Sunday School class.
