Frederico Lima De Lana

Naugatuck, CT     Frederico Lima De Lana, 13, died March 11, 2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Frederico was born November 30, 2012 in Brazil son of Dayse De Lima Bezerra and Marcos Maciel De Lana and was an 8th grade student at City Hill Middle School.

Fred was a loving sensitive boy who was full of light and who left a mark on everyone by being wise beyond his years. His sweetness and his joy will be forever remembered and he will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Our love for our Fred will forever live on in our hearts.

Frederico is survived by his parents, Dayse De Lima Bezerra and Marcos Maciel De Lana; his sister, Ana Julia Lima Lana; his maternal grandfather, Jose Aecio Bezerra and his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury. Everyone attending Mass is kindly asked to please meet directly at church. Calling hours will be Monday, March 16, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will be private.
