He graduated from Centralia High School and spent most of his career working for the Washington State Department of Transportation. Fred also retired from the Coast Guard Reserve.Family and friends will remember him as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bobbie Alexander; his children, Kirk (Jamie) Alexander and Kim (Dave) Schofield; three grandchildren; and his sister, Marie. He was preceded in death by his parents.No memorial service will be held, but the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in his name.Fred will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
