Frederick Reinhard

Frederick Reinhard, 82, of Kempton, formerly of Kutztown, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Laureldale Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Laureldale.

Born on January 9, 1944, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Fred was the son of the late Bernadette (Gesting) and Thomas Reinhard, Sr. He attended Kutztown Area High School and later owned and operated R & C General Contracting in Kutztown for many years, where he took on a wide variety of construction and roofing projects. Fred found great joy in hunting and in his annual fishing trips to Canada.

He is survived by his children, Robin Reinhard of Hamburg, Jody Reinhard and his wife Bonnie of Shoemakersville, and Thomas Reichert and his wife Robbie of Fleetwood. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Chris Engle of Kempton and Robin Conlon and her husband Thomas of Shoemakersville, his foster children Chris Young and Olivia Young, his grandchildren including Steven Engle and Christine Heinly, his brothers Richard and Charlie, and many nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Butch, Thomas, Mary-lou, Loretta, Lorraine, and Pat. He will be remembered fondly by his family for the steadfast presence he provided throughout their lives.
