Frederick R. Salberta, of Pipersville, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 4, 2026 after an illness of several years. Born in Titusville, New Jersey, on April 7, 1964, he was the son of the late Richard A. Salberta and Frances Page Salberta.
Fred spent many years as a Principal Electrical Engineer at Motorola, specializing in power supply design within the telecommunications field. He later continued his career as a design engineer at Infinera in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He served as a Sergeant in the New York Guard and was a dedicated member of the Bucks County Fish and Game Club, where he participated in training and matches for the Civilian Marksmanship Program. A lifelong competitive rifle shooter, he achieved the prestigious President’s 100 at Camp Perry. Those who knew him remember his love of reading, his enthusiasm for travel, and above all, the deep joy he found in being a father.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Salberta, his daughter, Sarah Salberta, his son, Daniel Salberta, and his siblings, Kathryn and Eric Salberta. Fred’s life was defined by his pursuit of excellence, his commitment to service, his devotion to family and faith, and his kindness toward those in need.
