Freddie Lee Alamanza, Sr.

Freddie Lee Alamanza, Sr., 77, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on July 21, 1948, in St. Joseph to Thomas and Margaret (Williams) Almanza, he grew up in his hometown and later returned there in 2018 after many years away.

Freddie proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he worked for Suitte Construction in Dinwiddie, Virginia, for approximately 30 years until his retirement. He found great joy in deer hunting and fishing throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Freddie is survived by his son, Freddie Lee Almanza, Jr., and his siblings, Yvonne Almanza and Terry Almanza.
