Freda Louise Menear

Freda Louise Menear, 94, of Bangor, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, in South Haven. Born on September 24, 1931, in South Haven to the late Patrick and Olga (Lamp) Warren, she lived a life centered on family and quiet dedication.

In 1969, Freda married John Menear in South Haven. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who took great pride in her work in the kitchen at the former Restwood Inn Nursing Home, where she prepared meals for the residents with care and skill.

She is survived by her husband, John; her children, Sherri Pratt, Debbie McIntosh, and John Wheeler; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Jan Warren, George Warren, and Edward Smith. She was preceded in death by her son, James Allen Wheeler, and her siblings, Bernice Arndt, Alfred Warren, Wilderene Warner, and Geraldine Hacker.
