Galgani Jr., 72, of Ridley Park, PA, passed away on March 10, 2026, at his home in Felton, Delaware. Fred was born on August 6, 1953, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to the late Fred Galgani Sr. and Mary Suttle. He was predeceased by his sister, Virginia Grau.Fred was raised in Philadelphia, where he attended school and later earned his GED. In his early years, he owned a small business in Center City. After becoming a father, he started his own landscaping business, a career he was truly passionate about.Fred loved the outdoors, and one of his favorite hobbies was gardening. He had a special love for animals, especially his beloved dogs, Lucy and Lily. Fred was happiest when spending time with his family. Beach trips, outdoor adventures, and backyard barbecues were some of his favorite ways to bring everyone together. Being "Pop-Pop" to his grandchildren was his greatest joy. Babysitting and spending time with them was one of his greatest joys.Cooking was another labor of love for Fred. "Everybody gotta eat!" he would often say as he prepared meals for family and friends.Fred was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan who rarely missed a game. He loved watching the games with family, and friends. He was also a lover of cars and music and found great happiness in the laughter and joy of his grandchildren.Fred will be deeply missed and forever remembered.Fred is survived by his fiancée, Linda Briggs; his daughters, Raquel (Jim), Nichole, Andria (Brendan), Connie (Karl), and Dana (Chip); and his sons, Steve and Mike. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Matteo, Anthony, James-Paul, Enzo, Brendan II, Juliet, Ella, Autumn, River, and Forest. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and loved ones.Funeral services will be held at Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074, on Friday, March 20, 2026. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place afterward at Lawn Croft Cemetery, 1000 W.
