He was born on May 18, 1956 in Antigo, a son of the late John and Jean "Bette" (Bohse) Gervais.He was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1974. Fred was employed as a mechanic for over 53 years, most recently at Gervais Service, LLC alongside his son, Mike. Fred was a Chevrolet man at heart. He was also an outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed fishing.Survivors include two sons, Mike Gervais and Mark Gervais; a grandson, Warren Gervais, all of Antigo; a brother-in-law, Terry (Jane) Lenzner of Aniwa; a sister-in-law, Carol Gervais of Antigo; and a niece, Billie (Dan) Bauknecht of Antigo.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Gervais; brother in infancy, William Gervais; and in-laws, Russell and Joanie Lenzner.According to Fred's wishes, no services will be held.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
