Fred A. Tunell

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Fred A. Tunell of Superior, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Fred left this world on March 3, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredolph Tunell and Violet Tunell (Nelson); his sisters, Delores Cole (Albert) and Betty Ann Maslon (Edward); his nephew Eddie Maslon; and his granddaughter Erin Tunell Pearson.

He is survived by: his wife Jan Ostrom; and his sons, Bruce (Michelle), David (Barbara) and Richard (Renee). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; extended family; and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Downs Life Celebration Center (1902 N 34th St, Superior, WI 54880). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials are preferred and will be donated to Living Stones International or Wycliffe Bible Missionary to support (Jase and Jana Tunell).
