Franklin Delon DeBord Sr.

Franklin Delon DeBord, Sr., age 83, of Auburndale, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Oak Haven Rehab & Nursing Center, surrounded by his family. Born on January 21, 1943, in Pikeville, Tennessee, to Eugene Wallace and Evelyn Gertrude (Reece) DeBord, he had lived in Auburndale since 1970.

Frank worked as a refrigeration mechanic at Comcar until his retirement. A longtime member and deacon of Orange Street Church of Christ in Auburndale, he found joy in gardening, caring for his horses, hunting, fishing, and especially in the company of his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Donna Coggeshall, and his daughter-in-law Kelly DeBord. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marilee DeBord; his son, Dale DeBord; his grandson, Franklin DeBord and his wife Marah; and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Addilynn.
