Franklin Delano Roberts

Franklin Delano Roberts, age 89, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on March 15, 2026. Born on August 17, 1936, in Franklin County, Georgia, he was the son of the late William Roberts and Donnie Irvin Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of many years, Glenda Roberts of Gainesville; his children, Tammy Pretts of Talmo, Tanya (Tim) Eison of Hoschton, Tiffaney Roberts of Gainesville, Terry Roberts of Gainesville, and Travis (Alicia) Roberts of Conway, South Carolina; his siblings, Queenola Carlan of Commerce, Sue Davidson of Gainesville, C.B. Roberts of Gainesville, and Arthur (Mary Ann) Roberts of Gainesville; grandchildren Kristy Smith, Will Cooper, and Will Eison; and great-grandchildren Joanna, Scarlett, Maddox, Brooks, and Waylon.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Dewey Roberts, Mack Roberts, Jobie Roberts, and Henry Roberts.
