Franklin A. Snider, known to all as Frank, passed away on March 12, 2026, in Mineola, Texas, at the age of 87. Born in Hawkins, Texas, to the late Lewis Manley Snider and Emma Tincy Willbanks Snider, Frank grew up in the community where he attended and graduated from Hawkins High School as a member of the football team.

He spent the majority of his working life at Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, retiring as a shipping supervisor. Frank’s greatest joy, however, was found on his farm, where he devoted himself to the care of his cows and the upkeep of his property. He also cherished days spent hunting and fishing, and he loved gathering family and friends at his home for lively fish fries that became cherished traditions.

Frank is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons Craig Snider and Brian Snider and his wife, Wanda; grandchildren Jenny Snider, Justin Snider, Kayla Wyatt, Katherine Campbell, Kevin Snider, Moriah Snider, Josiah Snider, and Becky Snider; great-grandchildren Bayden, Christa, Emma, Braxton, Nikki, Alexander, Aiden, Arianna, Lexis, Hayden, Sky, Macy, Emily, Connor, Travis, Levi, and Miles; great-great-grandchild Miles; sister Lavonia Stone; brothers Jerry Dale Snider and Nathan Snider; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Lewis Snider, Ernest Lee Snider, Elner Young, James Grover Snider, Emma Lee Jerden, Carl Musick, Naomi Lucas, and Dennis Snider.
