He is survived by: his children, Jamie Lee "Sam" Skinner (Tasha), Amy "Sally" Miller (Greg), Karen "Shell" Waddell (Malcolm) and Becky "Beck" Skinner; his brother Raford Skinner; his grandchildren, Preston Waddell, Brittany Allen, Jimmy Allen, Brian Wilhite and Madison Hunt; and his great grandchildren, Krymson Young, Kynslee Young, Levi Steel, Benjamin Wilhite, Asher Wilhite and Oakley Wilhite.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
