He was predeceased by: his father Frank O. McCarty Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Deborah Bowens (LeForge) of West Union; his son Samuel McCarty of Dayton; his girlfriend Jodi Rothwell of West Union; and his siblings, Ellen McCarty of Middletown, Kimberly Crum of West Union and Chris McCarty of West Union. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home (216 W Mulberry St, West Union, OH 45693).
