Beloved husband of Madlyn Wesley Veal. Devoted father of Tunisia N. Veal, Natascha Veal Roy (Ronald), Frank J. Veal, Jr., and Nicholas D. Veal (Monica). Loving grandfather of Sydnie-Renee´ Veal, Dylan and Sumayra Veal and Tatum and Logan Veal. Cherished great-grandfather of Jeremy Hightower and Weslyn Falconer. Son of the late Cyril and Thelma Veal. Frank was a dedicated educator in Orleans Parish Public Schools for over 40 years, touching countless lives as a teacher and coach. A devout member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church and a proud Holy Ghost Catholic School, St. Augustine High School, Grambling State University, and Southern University graduate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Friday, March 13, 2026, at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 2001 Louisiana Ave., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow Mt. Olivet Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
