Age 95.Frank was a life long resident of Macomb County attended St. Joseph High School in Detroit and worked at the Eastern Market as a teenager. At an early age he was an entrepreneur selling fruit cups at the Michigan Central Train Station.He was a proud veteran of the Korean War and had the opportunity to return as a guest of the Korean government in 2019 to see the results and benefits to the Korean people from sacrifices made.His interests were varied, he attended business school, the Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts (Later to become the College for Creative Studies) and was trained as a tool maker. However his passion was the Art and Craft leading to an almost 40 year career with General Motors as a sculptor eventually become Chief Modeler for Pontiac, Buick and Cadillac. Frank worked for industry icons including Harley Errol, Bill Mitchell and Chuck Jordan.Family life was important to Frank, spending time camping and enjoying time with his family and going to hockey games to watch his grandsons.Golfing with Austen and helping Alex with his clay models while studying Automotive Design at CCS were precious times.In retirement Frank stayed active. Managing his real estate portfolio, and picking the next trend in the Stock market. He loved helping his grandsons in understanding investing and would often discuss investment strategy with them.Frank was a beloved husband of the late Gloria. Loving father of David (Tracy) Fischer, Steven Fischer, and Karen Fischer. Proud grandfather of Alex and Austen. Dear brother of the late Matthew (Julie) Fischer. Dearest uncle of the late Ken (Kim) Fischer and great-uncle of Derek.Visitation Thursday 3:00pm - 8:00pm with Rosary 7:00pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). In state Friday 11:00am until the 11:30am Mass at St. Thecla Catholic Church (20740 Nunneley S. Clinton Twp, MI 48035). Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
