Frank J. Giaquinto, Sr.

Frank J. Giaquinto, Sr., 72, of Lancaster, passed away on March 9, 2026 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Born in the Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Vincent and Michelina Rossi Giaquinto. He was the devoted husband of Carolyn J. DiCarlo Giaquinto, with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on May 26th. Frank spent many years in the pizza business with his family, owning Gia’s Pizzeria on Long Island before moving to Lancaster. There, he became a familiar and well-liked waiter at local restaurants including Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, and Friendly’s.

A member of the Worship Center, Frank was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and the New York Yankees. He loved watching old westerns and Chuck Norris movies, and was known for his easy smile and gift for striking up a conversation with anyone he met. He made friends wherever he went.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his children, Frank J. “Frankie” Jr. of Lancaster and Jessica of Manheim; and his brother, James “Jimmy” Giaquinto and his wife Leanna of Merrick, New York. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent and John Giaquinto.
