Hagberg, 75, of Hazlet passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 16, 2026. He was born and raised in East Orange. He lived in Irvington before moving to Old Bridge and in 1980 buying his forever home in Hazlet NJ with his wife Judy and children Michael and Kelly.He is survived by wife Judy, the love of his life for 55 happy years; son Michael Hagberg and wife Sandy; grandsons, Michael Jr. and Matthew Hagberg. Daughter Kelly Cusumano and husband Mark, grandson Justin Cusumano and granddaughter Grace Cusumano. Sister-in-law Iris Coppola and brother-in-law Bob Coppola. Also brothers-in-law Mark Attius, Robert Polonsky, Richard Polonsky, Jamie Polonsky and many nieces and nephews.Frank was a proud retired Teamster and a life long Yankee fan. He loved telling how he attended games with his dad and then his own kids. Hosting Superball parties was also high on his list. He was a gentleman and friend with unbiased love for all.The greatest love and happiness of his life was his family. Wife Judy, son Michael and daughter Kelly. Frank was a loving, true family man and dedicated his life to them. His heart truly burst with pride and love for his kids. Frank coached Michael's little league baseball teams, and was Mike's biggest fan attending high school baseball and football games. He loved watching Kelly's little league softball games, renaming her Bambino. He became a fan of field hockey watching Kelly play in high school. He was so very proud of Michael joining the electrical union and Kelly graduating nursing school. Frank was also a father figure to Robert, Richie and Jamie showing them his love, support and proof what family truly meant.Poppy's love and pride of his 4 grandchildren was beyond measure, He loved playing Scatagories with them; making up words causing debate and laughter. Taking Mikey hunting for Momma Lucca Bear in Veteran's Park and then lunch at Burger King, showing Matty how to use his camera; taking pictures in Monmouth county and sharing their love of music and old albums. With Justin he loved driving him to MMA and watching soccer games. Justin loved his pop, especially when helping with projects and pop slipping him a few bucks for a job well done. Gracie Girl shined a bright light for her pop. He was incredibly proud of her being the "smartest" one in the room. Watching Grace play volleyball brought much joy, even though in 4 years, he never learned the rules.Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Interment will take place 11:00 AM, on Friday, March 20th, 2026 at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, 361 Highway 79, Morganville, New Jersey 07751.
