Frank Dennis Pate

Frank Dennis Pate was born on November 11, 1947, in Mena, Arkansas, and passed away at the age of 78. The son of the late Doyle and Marie Pate of Board Camp, Dennis grew up in the area and attended Mena Schools. In his senior year he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was deployed to Vietnam, an experience that left a lasting impact on him.

Those who knew Dennis remember him as a friendly man who was well-liked by others. In his later years he found faith in God and, with it, a measure of peace. He is survived by his sons, Paul and Matt; his siblings, Lula Mae, Wayne, Craig, Kelly, and Randy; his nieces and nephews; his special friend, Chyrel Berry; and many friends and acquaintances.

In keeping with his wishes, no service will be held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, kindness be shown to someone who is struggling. They extend their heartfelt gratitude to Elite Hospice and Southwest EMS of Mena for the compassionate care they provided Dennis.
