He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burton and Effie Burton; his sister Christine Usher; and his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Burton. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Arlene Newlin (Stan); his grandchildren, Erin Ahlene Burton, Jason Anthony Parrish (Devin), Sean Lee Parrish and John Edward Parrish; and his great grandchildren, Anthony Cruz-Burton, Cheyenne Cruz-Burton, Conrado "Chelo" Cruz-Burton, Sophia Parrish and Serenity Parrish.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crestview Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
