Frank Luton ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Checotah on Mar. 16, 2026.Frank "Allen" Luton, 75, formerly of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at his residence in Cumming, Georgia.Allen was born on July 9, 1950, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Marley Allen Luton and Emily Ellwood (Flatt) Luton. He grew up in Muskogee and graduated from Muskogee High School. With a strong work ethic and a passion for learning, he continued his education at Muskogee Technology Center and Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology where he earned his airplane mechanic's license-beginning a career he took great pride in.On August 28, 1970, Allen married the love of his life, Mary Arlene Tillman. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion, sharing 52 beautiful years of marriage before her passing in 2023. Their bond was one that truly stood the test of time.Allen's career took his family to Seattle, Washington, where he worked as an airplane mechanic for Boeing for 30 years. He was dedicated, hardworking, and took great pride in the work of his hands. After retirement, he and Mary chose to settle in Summerville, Georgia, in 2021 to be closer to their son and daughter-in-law-a decision that brought him great joy.Allen found happiness in the simple things. He had a deep love for working on old cars, a hobby that brought him both peace and excitement. Whether he was under the hood, at a car show, or out cruising, those were some of his happiest moments. But more than anything, Allen cherished his family. Time spent with those he loved meant everything to him.He leaves behind his loving son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Deena Luton of Cumming, Georgia; his cherished grandchildren, Alex and Sarah Mathews; and his precious great-grandchildren, Earnie and Grace Mathews, who will carry his memory forward.He is preceded in death by his parents, Marley and Emily Luton; his beloved wife, Mary; his daughter, Cheryl Mathews; and his grandson, Earnie Mathews.Allen will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the blessing of knowing him. His kindness, quiet strength, and love for his family will never be forgotten. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved.A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 7600 Old Taft Road, Muskogee, Oklahoma in the cemetery mausoleum. Interment will follow.Arrangements have been entrusted to Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 211 W.
