Francis (Frank) Bruno Albers

Francis (Frank) Bruno Albers, 95, of Tinley Park, Illinois, passed away at home on March 11, 2026.

Born on March 9, 1931, in Cherokee, Iowa, to Bruno and Barbara Albers, Frank grew up on the family farm alongside his five brothers. A hardworking man of many talents, he pursued various careers throughout his life. In 1962, he married Edith, and together they built a loving family that included two daughters. Their marriage endured for 63 years. Frank was a devoted family man who took great pleasure in building and repairing things, eagerly sharing his skills with those he loved. He cherished time spent with family, good food, and his deep faith.

Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Edith Albers; his daughters, Nadine Albers-Lopez (Alejandro) and Sandra Richey (William); his grandchildren, Tiffany, William, Francis, and Emma, along with their spouses; and his seven great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his endless stories, his deep laugh, his curiosity and love of discovering new things, his warm humor, and the kindness he showed everyone he met. Frank lived his faith in God in every part of his life. A devoted husband, wonderful father, and caring grandfather and great-grandfather, he left a lasting and loving impact on all who knew him.
