Francesca "Frannie" Tafoya

Francesca "Frannie" Tafoya passed away on March 10, 2026, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, at the age of 39. Born on July 26, 1986, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she graduated from Grants High School and built a life defined by creativity and compassion. Frannie worked as a car sales associate at several dealerships while pursuing her talent as a tattoo artist. She was a devoted advocate for the homeless, offering free haircuts and raising funds to provide clothing and essential items to those in need.

Above all, Frannie will be remembered for her genuine heart and giving soul. Her warmth touched everyone she met, and she leaves behind a community of friends and family who cherished her kindness and spirit.

She is survived by her father, Michael Tafoya; her sister, Mikah Coats, and Mikah’s husband, Jeff, along with their children, Jeffery and Journee Coats; her grandmother, Laurie Semeraro; her best friend, Jasmine Jones; and many extended family members and friends. Frannie was preceded in death by her mother, Michelle Semeraro; her grandparents, Rocco Semeraro, Ignacio Tafoya Jr., and Helen Tafoya; and her niece, Jianna Arielle Coats.
