Frances Marie Anderson Godfrey

Frances Marie Anderson Godfrey, 89, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. Born on June 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry Anderson and Lorena Deese Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Godfrey, and their two daughters, Cathy G. Sain and Tonnie G. Rushing.

Frances lived a life centered on family, quietly cherishing the bonds she shared with those she loved. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Griffin, along with six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the memory of her gentle presence and enduring love.
