Bohachick (Boten), 82, of Platte City, MO, formerly of Lee's Summit, passed away peacefully on March 12th, 2026 at home located in Platte City, MO.Born May 29th 1943 at Kansas City St. Lukes Hospital. First child of five siblings, of Dorthy L. Boten and Lawrence R. Boten of Lee's Summit, MO.Fran was a graduate of Lee's Summit High School, Class of 1961 and attended Kansas City Business College from 1961-63 and was an active member of Alpha Iota, international honorary business sorority, and work for R.B. Jones Insurance as a policy auditor form 1964-74.She married Samuel A. Bohachick on November 20th 1974, in Parkville, MO and resided in Riverside, MO. She became a proud mother of two children with Samuel and moved to Platte City, MO in 1979 and resided there until her passing.Fran was an active member of the Platte County Historical Society, Platte County Extension, and active in both Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops in Platte City. She enjoyed hobbies of gardening, canning, and genealogy and family history. She was a devoted wife of 51 years, beloved mother of two, and grandmother of five. She loved family gatherings and the Boten family reunions.Fran is proceeded in death by her parents; sister Dortha L. Bemboom, brother John R. Boten, and sister Mary L. Phillips.She is survived by her husband of Samuel A. Bohachick of Platte City, MO; sister Jenny L. Boten of Pittsburg, MO; son Daniel L. Bohachick and wife Melinda, grandson Alexander and granddaughter Elizabeth of Carl Junction, MO; daughter Amy L. Bopp(Bohachick) and husband Jason, grandsons Oliver and Jonathon and granddaughter Emilee of Neosho, MO. She will be deeply missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and family.Funeral Visitation Services will be at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 from 6-8pm. Graveside services will be held at Buckner Hill Cemetery, 112 S. Sibley Street, Buckner, MO on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 starting 11am.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
