Frances Louvine Manes Seawell

Frances Louvine Maness Seawell, 88, of Siler City, died unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Thursday, February 19, 2026, with her son Randy Underwood.

Ms. Seawell was born September 29, 1937, in Chatham County to the late Daisy Vertle Mele. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Underwood; brother, Wayne Maness; and sons, David, Randy and Michael Underwood.

She retired from the hatchery. She loved spending time with her family.

Ms. Seawell is survived by her dear friend and ex-husband, Larry Seawell; her sister, Nancy Sullivan; her brother, Billy Mele; six grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Frances and Randy will be Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at 2 PM, at Tyson's Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Chris Wilson will be officiating.
