Frances Gibbs Caldwell

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Gibbs Caldwell (Pacolet, South Carolina), who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Gibbs Caldwell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gibbs and Marie Bright Gibbs; her husband Ronald H. Caldwell; and her siblings, Louise Hatchette and Clarence Gibbs.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Caldwell (Kelli) of Pendleton, SC and Anna Marie Peacock (Todd) of Lyman, SC; her grandchildren, Colton Peacock (Alexa), Dawson Peacock and Samantha Peacock; her great grandchildren, Avery Anne Peacock and Rylee Frances Peacock; and her siblings, Harold Gibbs of Sevierville, TN and Joyce McDowell of Fairforest, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel (4161 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens (4081 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316). She also gave generously of her time as a volunteer with Mobile Meals of Spartanburg and the RSVP Program of the United Way.
