It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Claire Sobisky (Santa Maria, California), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Frances Claire departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Frances Claire. Though Frances Claire may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lauren Lamont (Eric Lamont), Joanne Sobisky and Karin Leon (Jaime Leon). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Santa Maria Inn (801 S Broadway, Santa Maria, CA 93454). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (966 W Orchard St, Santa Maria, CA 93458). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
