Frances A. Boyea

Frances A. (Mussaw) Boyea, 76, of Farmington, passed away on March 12, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Arthur J. Boyea, Jr.

Born on April 9, 1949, in Middlebury, Vermont, Frances was the daughter of the late Frank and Audrey (Wheeler) Mussaw. She grew up in Moriah, New York, where she graduated from Moriah Central High School. After living in New York, she and Arthur moved to Bristol in 1976 and then to Farmington in 1989. For 25 years, Frances worked as the executive housekeeper at the Centennial Inn in Farmington before retiring.

She found joy in crafting and was a talented seamstress whose hands created many cherished items for her family. Frances is survived by her children, Eric Boyea and his wife Shannon, and Corina White and her partner Lisa Selvaggi, all of Bristol; her twin brother, Frank Mussaw of Sherman, Texas; four grandchildren, Joel Boyea and his wife Stephanie, Michael Boyea, Steve Boyea and his wife Julia, and Cayla White; and a great-grandchild expected in the spring, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lorretta Mussaw and Susan Simard.
