He was born September 27, 1947 the son of Betty Parks. On June 20, 1970 at Greenridge Baptist Church of Eldon, MO he was united in marriage to Judith Gayle (Currence) Ouderkirk who preceded him in death on January 26, 2005.Survivors include,Son, Joseph Ouderkirk (Erika) of Ballwin, MOGranddaughter, Coraline Ouderkirk of Ballwin, MOSister, Glenda Hart of Warsaw, MOAlong with his wife and mother, a brother, Wes Ouderkirk and a sister, Darlene Ouderkirk preceded him in death.Floyd was a graduate of Eldon High School and a member of Greenridge Baptist Church for several years. He was employed with MFA as regional manager for twenty plus years and also enjoyed farming. Floyd was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals; Kansas City Chiefs; the St. Louis Cardinals, and Mizzou football and basketball. Floyd enjoyed working out, lifting weights, and cycling. He loved traveling with his wife Judy, loved caring for and giving to anyone in need. He was always helping someone with something. Floyd was a friend to everyone he met and did not know a stranger. Barnett was home to him for twenty plus years.Visitation will be Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 PM.
