He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Gavin; and his brother Randy Gavin. He is survived by: his mother Juanita Foreman Gavin of Rye, AR; his son Daniel Gavin (Secret) of Montana; his siblings, Dennis Gavin of Bradley County, AR and Cathy Gavin Phillips of Rye, AR; and his grandchildren, Liam Gavin and Rylan Gavin. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at the same location.
