Florine I. Rosauri

1937 — 2026

Wilmington, DE

Florine I. Rosauri, 89, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by her children.

Born in Wilmington, Florine was the daughter of the late Susan (Celano) and Samuel Delapo. She grew up exploring the Brandywine River, spending time with friends at the Rose Garden and Sugar Bowl, and working for the Delaware News Journal. A graduate of P.S. DuPont High School, she later earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Delaware Technical College while raising her children. She enjoyed a successful thirty-year career as a real estate agent, inspiring many family members to join the profession, and also worked for ten years at the JCPenney cosmetic counter.

Florine held a lifelong love for North Wildwood, New Jersey, where she spent cherished time at her parents’ beach house on 5th Street and later in her own beach homes. She delighted in walking the seawall, visiting her cousin Gloria, tending to her properties, and savoring ocean views with her morning coffee. A devout Christian, she found joy in cooking, reading, antiquing, and running her own antique shop, The Flea Bag, in the late 1970s. She was a self-taught pianist and gifted oil painter, and in her retirement years she enjoyed playing piano, gardening, caring for her dog Coco, and looking after her grandchildren. Through the local senior center, she participated in weekly Bible study and art classes.

Florine was the heart of her family, always caring for others and instilling in her children and grandchildren a deep sense of family and the importance of time spent together. She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, John A. Sianni; her second husband, Sante Rosauri; her brother, Angelo Delapo; and her son-in-law, George Rose. She is survived by her children, Sandy Buckman and Grant, Robyn Rose, Tina Ciotti and Jeff, Angel Lynn Burns and Kevin, Anthony Sianni, Joe Rosauri and Brandon Morgan, and Sam Rosauri and Bethani O’Neill; her grandchildren, Anthony Sianni Jr., Daniel Buckman (Maria), Kristen Stevens Sianni (Jim), Nicole Buckman, Jordan Sianni (Victoria), Brandon Buckman, Joey Wary, Gabe Ciotti (Emily), Justin Rosauri (Ashlee), Samantha Rosuari (Zach), Shay Burns, Olivia O’Neill and Lainy Burns; her great-grandchildren, Shane Buckman (Briana), Ariana Buckman Pritt (Trevor), Santino Sianni, Luke Stevens, Gianna Stevens, J.J.
