Floriene Williams ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home - Osceola on Mar. 5, 2026.Floriene Williams, 90, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on February 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.Floriene was born on November 19, 1935, in Paynesville, West Virginia, to the late Wyatt and Patty (Blankenship) Compton. On August 13, 1955, she married the love of her life, Cecil Williams, in Elkhart, Indiana. They shared many devoted years together until Cecil's passing on February 14, 2007.She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James (Pat) Compton and Chester (Wanda) Compton; and her sisters, Beatrice (Rufus) Horne, Bessie (Kyle) Sparks, Wanda "Sue" (Jack) Perry, Betty (Randy) Stults, and JoAnne Compton.Floriene took great pride in her beautiful flower gardens and her talent for crafting. For many years, she worked in the RV industry, where her creativity and skill helped brighten countless interiors. She found her greatest joy at home, preferring the comfort of family over travel. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Ginger, who preceded her in death in 2024. Above all, she deeply loved and missed her husband, Cecil.She is survived by her children, David (Peggy) Williams and Donna (Robert) Rumfelt; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 13, from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM.
