Florentine E. Duran

Florentine Eleanor Duran, 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 7, 2026, just days before her 84th birthday. She was born on March 26, 1942, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Eleanor was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered around her family. She is survived by her children: Brenda (Brandon) Heitman, James (Lori) Duran, and Michael Duran.

She was a proud grandmother to Angel, Alex, Alexis, Ravin, Jeremy, JJ, Danny, Tabi, Sami, and Abbi, and a loving great-grandmother to Skyler, Bailey, Silas, Ozias, Kaius, and Declan. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured the time spent with each of them.

Eleanor was also dearly loved and cherished by her younger siblings Benny Rocha, Angie Bobian, Linda (Dennis) Kindell, Lupe (Tom) Campos, Robert (Arlene) Rocha, Yolanda (John) Roybal, and Gilbert Rocha, along with many extended family members and friends who will remember her kindness, warmth, and sense of humor. She found happiness in simple pleasures, especially being with loved ones and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Flora Rocha, her brothers Daniel Rocha and her baby brother, her sister-in-law Gloria Rocha, her brother-in-law Tony Bobian, and her husband, Abel Duran.
