Florence Elizabeth Walton Nixson, 96, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at Azalealand Nursing Home.
Born on May 17, 1929, to the late Solomon and Eva Walton, Florence dedicated her career to caring for others as a registered nurse at Memorial Medical Center. A devoted member of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, she lived with quiet strength, compassion, and grace. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Nixson Sr., and her son, John Henry Nixson Jr.
She is survived by her four daughters and a wide circle of loving family and friends who will carry forward the memory of her gentle spirit and faithful heart.
