Florence C. "Gram Wilson" Swartz

Florence C. “Gram” Swartz, 103, of Millerstown, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on April 25, 1922, in McVeytown, Pennsylvania, to Lloyd and Bertha (Gearheart) Wilson, she lived a long and devoted life centered on family and service to her community.

Florence retired at the age of 85 from the Greenwood School District. She was a longtime member of the Millerstown United Methodist Church and the Millerstown Fire Company Auxiliary. She found deep joy in caring for children and, above all, in spending time with her family.

She was the widow of Galen R. Swartz. Florence is survived by her daughters, Beverly Snyder (Robert) and Gayle Fegley (Richard), both of Millerstown, along with four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Russell, Samuel, Albert, and John Wilson, and her sisters Jessie, Pearl, Kathryn Wilson, Mabel Campbell, and Laura Freed.
