Flo Ann “Sue” Lawson, age 84, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on March 17, 2026. Born on May 10, 1941, in Pikeville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Tommy and Liz Angel Ferguson. Sue retired after more than thirty years of service as a housekeeper at Lake Tansi Village and later worked for several years as a caregiver before fully retiring. A woman of Baptist faith, she found her greatest joy in her grandchildren and cherished simple pleasures such as yard sales, trips to Sonic, and sharing ice cream with them. She loved listening to George Jones and was remembered by family and friends as an excellent cook.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Barbara Turner and her husband Floyd of Crossville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Melissa Henry and her husband Ronnie of Lancing, Tennessee, Tiffany Guy and her husband Zack of Crossville, Tennessee, Faith Myers and her husband Camdon of Crossville, Tennessee, Carrie Swafford and her husband Donover of Spencer, Tennessee, and Johnathan Lawson of Crossville, Tennessee; and her great-grandchildren, Drake Henry, Silas Henry, Bryar Henry, Layla Henry, Hunter Guy, Brylee Guy, Maverick Guy, Lexi Swafford, Brittany Swafford, April Swafford, Joseph Lawson, and Hayden Lawson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lawson; her sons, Tony Lawson and Donnie Lawson; her infant daughter, Christie Michelle Lawson; and her siblings, Ruth, Tommy, William, Claude, and Rolly.
