Fletcher Lee Mills

Fletcher "Jack" Lee Mills, III, age 68, of Willow Spring, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Duke-Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh.

Born on May 5, 1957, in Halifax County, Virginia, to Esther Fox Mills and the late Fletcher Mills, Jr., Jack was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, Wendy Clayton Mills, and their children. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Mills; his sons, Jonathan Mills and Lucas Mills; and his eight grandchildren, Rebecca-Lynn Holmes, Meadow Holmes, Fletcher Holmes, Esther Holmes, Jonathan Mills, Gracie Mills, Leon Mills, and Ramona Mills. He also leaves behind his mother, Esther; his sisters, Diane Porterfield Cox, Joyce Ann "Penny" Perkins, and Barbara "Cookie" Woodley; and his brothers, Joseph Keyser and Curtis Mills.

In addition to his father, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Fox.

He will be remembered for the love and steadfast presence he gave to his family throughout his life.
