Felix G. Plaza

Felix G. Plaza

Bridgeport, CT

Felix G. Plaza, 87, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 2, 1938, in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, to the late Nicacio Plaza and the late Carmen M. Rivera, Felix later made his home in Bridgeport. He was known for his kindness, his devotion to family, and his remarkable artistic and musical talents. A gifted guitarist, he performed for many years at local venues, including the Crystal Ballroom, and played with groups such as Conjunto Los Boricuas and other area bands. His music carried a deep passion that touched everyone who heard him play.

Felix was also a talented artist whose creativity was evident in his drawings and other works. He had a keen eye for beauty and detail, and in quiet moments he enjoyed spending time on his computer, often creating small, heartfelt notes to express his love for his wife. Above all, he was a devoted family man who found his greatest happiness in the smiles of those he loved. He carried a generous heart filled with gratitude and joy in life’s simplest moments.

His greatest love was reserved for his wife of more than 59 years, Olga C. Plaza, whom he affectionately called his beloved “Olgi.” Their bond remained the steady center of his life. Felix is survived by his loving wife, Olga C. Plaza; his children, German F. Plaza (Karen), Dalia Plaza (David), Felix Plaza Jr., and Alberto Plaza (Olga); and by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his son, Jose Plaza.
