Faye Zimmerman Cashwell

Faye Zimmerman Cashwell, 87, passed away on March 11, 2026 at her residence at Kindred Place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, surrounded by her daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Rufus Zimmerman and Pruella Herb Zimmerman Carpenter of Pitman, Pennsylvania, and her husband, Franklin Wade Cashwell of Oak Island, North Carolina. Faye is survived by her daughters, Donna Snyder Damgaard and her husband Jens, and Abigail Snyder Fish and her husband Joseph Dale, as well as four grandchildren who were the sunshine in her life.

Raised in a farming community, Faye spent twenty-five years producing poultry commercially in Schuylkill County. She and her husband Frank later retired to Oak Island, North Carolina, near the sea she loved so dearly. A devoted believer, Faye was a longtime member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Harrisburg and a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
