Interment will follow at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler.Mrs. Kennard passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in Tyler. She was born June 21, 1930, in Cherokee County to Ruth Alexander Pierce and Olen Pierce.Faye was a graduate of Rusk High School. She was a bookkeeper for Locklan Oil Company.Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Kennard, her brothers, Waymon Pierce, Jim Pierce, and Bill Pierce, and her sister, Helen Mason. She is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Joni Smith; granddaughter, Erica Worden; grandson, Bradley Smith; granddaughter-in-law, Erin Smith; great-grandchildren, Valerie Worden, Brook Grubb, Elizabeth Manefee, Jude and Annie Smith; sister, Pat Tate; and multiple nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Bradley Smith, Amos Worden, Max Worden, Cam Nutt, Bobby Smith, and Jon Tate.Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.If desired, memorials may be made to Dementia research.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
