Faye E. Futrell

CALVERT CITY - Faye E. Futrell, 90, of Calvert City, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City.Born Saturday, Sept. 14, 1935, in Puryear, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James Evitts and the late Opal Wicker Evitts. She retired as the church secretary of Aldersgate Methodist Church.Surviving are sons, Robert Futrell of Calvert City, Don Futrell of Lithia, Florida, and Jim Futrell of Louisville; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, C.O. Futrell; her brother, Paul Evitts; and sisters, Gale Clark, Joyce Albritten and Brenda Caillouet.A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Paducah.Collier Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 211 West 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025; 270-527-3141, is in charge of arrangements.
