Fay G. Cobb, age 78, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Brightmoor Hospice. Born in Griffin on November 1, 1947, she was the daughter of Marion Godard and Frances Smith Godard.
Fay was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Dunker's Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Cobb, her brother, Kerry Godard, and her parents.
She is survived by her daughters, Kellie Cook (Michael) and Laura Beaber (Gene); her grandchildren, Carson Cook, Macie Beaber, and Cole Beaber; her sisters-in-law, Pam Godard and Barbara Cobb (Donald "Donnie"); and her nieces, Mary Kate Godard and Sydney Armstead.
