Fay C. (Gentzler) Herman

Fay C. (Gentzler) Herman, age 94, of Stoverstown, passed away on March 6, 2026 at Seaton Springwood in York. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth E. Herman, who passed away on August 8, 2001; together they shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in York New Salem, Pennsylvania on May 21, 1931, Fay was the daughter of the late Melvin and Beulah (Lau) Gentzler. A devoted member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Stoverstown, she found joy in cooking, baking, and gardening. Above all, she cherished her family and the time spent with them.

Fay is survived by her children Sandra Welliver and husband Arthur, Sharon Smith and husband Blaine, and Shane Herman and wife Brenda, as well as two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda L. Herman, who passed away on December 22, 2024, and her brothers Nevin Gentzler, Stanley Gentzler, and Harold Gentzler.
