She was born on October 17, 1955 in LaGrange to Cornelius D. and Alma (Bontrager) Beachy. On November 20, 1976 in Goshen she married Harold L. Yoder, he survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are three children and five grandchildren, Jeffery A. (Katie) Yoder of Bloomington and their children, Daniel and Eileen; Jeanette A. (Bradley) Kendall of Crothersville and their daughter, Leilany; Jennifer A. (Jake) Lehman of Syracuse and their children Joshua and Annalise; a special friend of the family, Ana Alves; four sisters, Sue Ann (Dennis) Hershberger of Goshen, Rosemary (Marvin) Miller of LaGrange, Ginny (Jim) Kauffman of Goshen, Maggie (Nate) Schwartz of Sturgis, MI; six brothers, Marvin (Carolyn) Beachy of Amboy, Dave (DiAnn) Beachy of Goshen, Wayne (Rosanna) Beachy of Ligonier, Tim (Leona) Beachy of Columbia City, Paul (Janice) Beachy of Syracuse, Sam (Heidi) Beachy of Milford. She was preceded in death by her parents. During her youth, Eileen spent 5 ½ years serving as a missionary with her family in Paraguay. She was a member of Siloam Fellowship Church of Goshen, had operated Eileen's Seams Sewing business in Millersburg and was a co-owner of Yoder's IGA in Shipshewana. She enjoyed cycling, gardening, and traveling, especially when she could experience an outdoor adventure with her husband. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was dedicated to supporting her children and grandchildren in all their various endeavors. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, and 1:00 - 4:00 and 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, at Siloam Fellowship, 61616 Co Rd 35, Goshen. There will also be visitation from 10:00 to 10:30 am, prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Friday, March 20, also at the church. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastors Vern Hostetler and Ben Snyder. Burial will be in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Rosedale International Ride for Missions.
