Fannie Maynard, 106, of Montpelier, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Woodridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin.
Born on March 29, 1919, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of Fred and Ada (Kusic) McNally. She attended elementary school in Cambridge and graduated from Jeffersonville High School. On May 18, 1940, she married Gaylord Maynard in Enosburg Falls. Gaylord passed away in 1994.
Fannie worked for many years at M.H. Fishman’s Store in Montpelier and later at The Tavern Hotel in Montpelier. She cherished quiet moments spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Philip Maynard and his wife, Regina; seven grandchildren, Ricky, Carla, Tammy, Brian, Wendy, Vicki, and Rodney; seven great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Judy and husband Ronnie Marvin, her son Ronald, and her ten siblings.
