Evelyn was born in Superior AZ, November 10th 1929 to Manuel and Maria San Emeterio. Evelyn graduated from Superior High School in 1948. In 1949, she married Ray Ramirez. Evelyn and Ray were married for 75 years. Evelyn worked at John Mitchell's as a clerk/bookkeeper, she later left to be a homemaker. Evelyn enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Evelyn is remembered for her quick-witted answers and humor. Her kindness and caring ways were experienced by many and will be deeply missed. Evelyn came across as stern, but everyone who knew her just giggled. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Ray Sr. and son Arturo (Jap) Ramirez. Evelyn is survived by her sisters Mary Clark, Isabel "Chavela" Ruiz(Leonard), and son Baby Ray Ramirez (Molly). She has four grandchildren Elisa, Billy(Becky), Christine(Ben), and Michael Ray. 17great grandchildren, 5 great, great, grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and cousins.
